Our Schools

All three schools in the Berkeley Charter Education Association portfolio are high-quality, tuition-free public charter schools. Any student that resides in South Carolina and is enrolled in the applicable grade levels can attend these schools.

Mevers School of Excellence

Mevers School of Excellence is located in Goose Creek, South Carolina and opened in 2017. Mevers offers a high-quality education to students in grades K-8.

Berkeley Preparatory Academy

Berkeley Preparatory Academy is located in Summerville, South Carolina and opened in 2021. Berkeley offers a high-quality education to students in grades K-8.

Willie Jeffries School of Excellence

The Willie Jeffries School of Excellence will open for the 2024-2025 school year in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The Berkeley Charter Education Association is excited to partner with football legend Coach Willie Jeffries to bring a new school choice to students in grades K-8 at full matriculation.
